It comes with an easy-to-operate twist-grip throttle and reaches a maximum of 10 mph for fast and furious fun. It provides a smooth ride no matter the surface, thanks to a pneumatic front tire and fast-acting rear brakes that are hand-operated by your child.

We love that this scooter’s handlebars are adjustable, accommodating kids of all heights, and although the recommended age for this model by Razor is 8 years old and up, we wouldn’t rule out younger children using it, depending on their size and skill level.

Riders can get up to 40 minutes of use per charge, and charging generally takes 12 to 24 hours. The motor kicks in after the scooter reaches a pace of 3 mph. The scooter cuts power to the motor when your child uses the handbrake, as an added safety precaution.

This particular scooter is fairly priced, sturdy and solid, and easy to assemble, since it ships in just two pieces. According to the manufacturer, assembly takes all of 10 minutes. And since it comes in two pieces, it’s easy to take apart and take with you, wherever you’re headed. Replacement parts can be purchased on razor.com and from authorized service centers.

Fast enough to be fun but not so fast as to be dangerous, this would make a great gift for any child.

The E300 has an extra-large deck and frame, which makes it extra stable for your child, and the extra-wide 10-inch pneumatic tires make it easy to control and super comfortable.
